Micro-Needling

Micro-needling is a minimally invasive treatment that supports the skin’s natural repair process by stimulating collagen and elastin production. Using a specialized device with very fine needles, controlled micro-channels are created in the skin, encouraging cellular renewal and improved skin texture.

This treatment is commonly used to support overall skin health and may help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone, acne scars, and areas of skin laxity. By stimulating the body’s natural healing response, micro-needling promotes smoother, firmer, and more resilient skin over time.

  • • Fine lines and early signs of aging
    • Uneven skin texture
    • Acne scars
    • Enlarged pores
    • Hyperpigmentation
    • Mild skin laxity
    • Overall skin tone and brightness

  • Micro-needling treatments begin with a thorough skin assessment to determine if the treatment is appropriate for your skin type and goals. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to maximize comfort.

While the numbing cream is taking effect, patients have the option to receive either a brief acupuncture treatment or a relaxing hand or foot massage.

Most sessions take 45–60 minutes, and mild redness may occur afterward as the skin begins its natural repair process.

A series of treatments is often recommended to achieve optimal results.

  • Micro-needling works by stimulating the skin’s natural healing response, which gradually increases collagen and elastin production over time. Because this process occurs naturally within the skin, improvements develop progressively rather than immediately.

Many patients begin noticing changes in skin texture and overall tone after the first few treatments. For optimal results, a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart is often recommended.

Each treatment plan is individualized based on your skin condition, goals, and overall skin health.

  • Micro-needling typically involves minimal downtime. Following treatment, the skin may appear mildly red and feel warm or slightly sensitive, similar to a mild sunburn. This usually subsides within 24–48 hours.

As the skin begins its repair process, collagen production gradually increases over the following weeks. Improvements in skin texture, tone, and firmness typically continue to develop over several weeks after each treatment.

Maintaining a consistent treatment schedule and following proper aftercare helps support the best possible results.
